Frequency and beat players

Frequency hub and beat frequency hub, both opening with the distinction that causes most of the confusion in this subject: a tone is a pitch, a beat is a difference between two of them.

Same day — the app, and the end of the WAV renderer

The download page is now the page for the free Brainwave Generator app on iOS and Android — the same engine, playing with the screen off, which a browser tab on a phone cannot do.
The browser WAV renderer that previously lived there was removed. If you used it, the players themselves are unchanged and still have no session limit.
A single line linking the app now appears at the foot of the long-session players. There is no banner over any tool, and there will not be one.

2026-09-04 — SEO pass and twenty title fixes

Fourteen page titles and six meta descriptions were rewritten to sit in the ranges that render without truncation. No page content changed.
Added a checker that compares every sitemap date against the git history of the page it describes, so a date here can only claim a change that actually happened.
Measured every page against every other page for near-duplicate text. The closest pair on the site overlaps by 25%, well inside the limit we hold ourselves to.

2026-09-04 — Comparisons and two long-tail noise pages

Honest comparisons with the paid apps: Brain.fm, Endel, myNoise and Gnaural, with an overview. Every price carries the date it was checked, and each page states what the other product does better than this site — because on several points they do.
Brown noise for sleep and white noise for studying: the two cases where the setup matters more than the colour.

Later the same day — calculator and four more answers

A binaural beat calculator: carrier plus beat to what each ear receives, or two frequencies back to the beat they produce, with the band each rate falls into.
Four questions that tool sites tend not to answer: why nothing seems to happen, which headphones actually work, driving, and whether it is haram — the last of which we answer by describing the sound precisely and declining to issue a ruling we have no standing to give.

How corrections work here

When a factual claim on this site turns out to be wrong, the page is fixed and the change is listed here with the date and what it said before. Quietly editing a claim out is the norm in this field; it should not be.
