Frequency and beat players

Frequency hub and beat frequency hub, both opening with the distinction that causes most of the confusion in this subject: a tone is a pitch, a beat is a difference between two of them.
All nine solfeggio tones in one player, with the set's actual 20th-century origin rather than the ancient-scale story.

Same day — the app, and the end of the WAV renderer

The download page is now the page for the free Brainwave Generator app on iOS and Android — the same engine, playing with the screen off, which a browser tab on a phone cannot do.
The browser WAV renderer that previously lived there was removed. If you used it, the players themselves are unchanged and still have no session limit.
A single line linking the app now appears at the foot of the long-session players. There is no banner over any tool, and there will not be one.

How corrections work here

When a factual claim on this site turns out to be wrong, the page is fixed and the change is listed here with the date and what it said before. Quietly editing a claim out is the norm in this field; it should not be.
