Privacy
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has nothing to sell about you. The long version is below, and it is still short.
Brainwave Generator does not use cookies, does not run analytics or advertising scripts, and does not have user accounts. Your player settings are stored in your own browser and never transmitted. Audio is generated on your device, so what you listen to is not observable to us.
What is stored on your device
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your volume preference | localStorage, key bwg_v2 | So the player is not loud next time |
| Nothing else | — | — |
You can delete it at any time by clearing site data for this domain. Nothing breaks; the player returns to its default volume.
What the server sees
Standard web server logs: the page requested, a timestamp, the referring page if your browser sends one, your user agent, and your IP address. These are ordinary access logs kept for operating and securing the site, and they are not joined to anything else, not shared, and not used to build a profile.
Third parties
There are none on the pages as they exist today. No fonts loaded from another domain, no tag manager, no embedded video, no social buttons, no CDN. Every file the site serves comes from this domain.
If advertising is added later — as described on the about page, on explanatory pages only — this policy will be updated before it appears, and the change will be listed in the changelog.
Children
The site is not directed at children, collects nothing from anyone, and therefore collects nothing from children either.
Your rights
Where laws such as the GDPR or CCPA apply to you, they give you rights over personal data a site holds about you. We hold none beyond server logs, so there is generally nothing to export or delete — but if you want to ask, write to [email protected].
